Our First Pop-Up Market – Thank You, Pacifica!

Our First Pop-Up Market – Thank You, Pacifica!

Last Saturday, August 8, was a special day for me and for Zuerbell.

We joined the Palmetto Pop Up Lot in Pacifica, and it was one of those experiences that reminded me why I started this little business in the first place.

When I launched Zuerbell, I imagined creating a place where people could discover little things that make them smile. Seeing that idea come to life at a local market felt both exciting and a little surreal.

Setting Up Before the Crowd Arrived

I'll admit—I was nervous.

The morning started with unloading boxes, arranging products, and making sure everything looked just right. I probably rearranged the table more times than I'd like to admit.

I wanted the booth to feel warm and welcoming, almost like a tiny gift shop where people could slow down, browse, and discover something unexpected.

Seeing everything finally come together made all those late nights worth it.

Meeting So Many Wonderful People

One of my favorite parts of the day wasn't making sales—it was talking to people.

Some visitors were collectors who immediately recognized certain blind box series.

Others stopped because a plush keychain or a sticker caught their eye.

Some simply wanted to know what Zuerbell was all about.

Every conversation was different, and I enjoyed every single one.

It reminded me that behind every order or purchase is a real person with their own interests, hobbies, and stories.

Learning More Than I Expected

As a first-time vendor, I thought the day would mostly be about selling products.

Instead, I found myself learning constantly.

I noticed which items people picked up first, which displays naturally drew attention, and what kinds of questions people asked.

Those little observations are incredibly valuable and will help me choose future products and improve the shopping experience, both online and at future markets.

Thank You

To everyone who stopped by the booth, said hello, or took one of my business cards—thank you.

Whether you made a purchase or simply spent a few minutes chatting, I truly appreciate your support.

Running a small business is full of unknowns, but days like this remind me that every step is worth taking.

This was only the beginning, and I'm already looking forward to the next market.

If you couldn't make it this time, you can always visit us at www.zuerbell.com to explore our collection of cute collectibles, cozy gifts, stickers, plushies, bag charms, blind boxes, and more.

Thank you for being part of the Zuerbell journey.

Little Joys for Every Soul.
